Can I customise the size of an upholstered bed?

Yes. Custom size requests are part of how we work. The bed is built to suit your bedroom rather than to a fixed size chart, and we can build between standard sizes when a room needs it. Tell us about the room and the mattress you plan to use, and we will confirm what fits before anything is built.

What is the difference between a normal bed and an upholstered bed?

A normal bed frame is usually bare wood or metal. An upholstered bed has the frame and headboard padded and covered in fabric, which makes it softer to lean against, quieter in use and warmer to look at. It also gives you colour and texture choices that a plain frame does not.

Do upholstered beds come with storage?

They can. A hydraulic base lifts on gas pistons so you can reach the full footprint underneath, which suits suitcases and seasonal bedding. If your wardrobe already covers storage, a plain base costs less. This has to be decided before the frame is built, as it changes how the base is made.

Can I choose the fabric and colour?

Yes. There are over 100 fabrics and more than 100 colours, including pet-friendly and stain-resistant finishes. A headboard is handled every day, so tighter weaves tend to wear better. We can bring swatches to you on a free home visit so you see them in your own bedroom light.

Which bed size is suitable for apartments?

A queen usually works best in most Bangalore apartments. It sleeps two comfortably while leaving floor space either side for side tables and a walkway. A king needs a generously sized bedroom before it stops making the room feel tight, so in a compact flat a queen tends to give the better room.

How long does a custom bed take?

Every bed is made after you order, so nothing is taken from ready stock. The timeline depends on the size, the storage type and the fabric you choose, and we confirm it with you when the order is placed.
